Children with
special needs
Chief instructor Tom Tennick has worked with, and has been teaching, for over 30 years, children with the following:-
Dyslexia
Autism
Asperger's Syndrome
ADHD
Delayed learning disorder
Partially sighted
Sickle cell syndrome
Most of these children have joined into the main classroom and have achieved high standards of Karate
Tom also teaches in a school that has a unit and several children from the unit have achieved very well in Karate also
Hearing problems or totally Deaf
Our head coach Sharon GoodwinDoash 5th Dan has a Cert
(teaching qualification) and has passed NVQ level 3 in BSL (British sign language)
